The Arrow of Light is the highest rank a Cub Scout can earn. It is also the only Cub Scout badge that can be worn on the Scouts BSA uniform.

The Arrow of Light requirements are intended to help prepare the Cub Scouts for their transition to Scouts BSA troops

It is quite an honor for a Cub Scout to earn the Arrow of Light rank.  Many packs make or purchase plaques or ceremonial arrows for them.  Another way to congratulate them is with a certificate that can be purchased from the online Scout Shop or your local Scout Shop.

Because some of you may want or need a printable option, I had this free printable Arrow of Light certificate template created to share with you. You can print the certificate and write the names on there by hand, or you can type the names on the certificate and then print it. If you want to fill in the names before you print it, click on any of the 3 name lines and type the names directly into the certificate.

Just enter your email address in the box to get your complimentary copy!

Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions.  I hope your Scouts love their certificates!

Yours in Scouting,
Sherry

  1. I agree it is a great certificate, but a date would be helpful.

    1. I just ordered a revision to the certificate to include the date. Thanks for reminding me that I needed to do that!

Thank you! I forgot to buy one at the Scout store and this saved me! The only suggestion I have is to add a place for the date. It looks great otherwise.

    1. Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll check about adding the date.

Thank you for making this available. Our leadership promised to get our arrow of light badges but waited until the last week to get them. Of course our scout store is out of everything and our whole pack has nothing tangible to give out. At least we can give them this certificate to show them what they earned. Luckily I picked up Arrows a month before our bridging ceremony.
