As I began to prepare for my Webelos den’s Arrow of Light ceremony, I knew I wanted the boys to have a plaque with an arrow hanging from it. I discovered that we had two options for Arrow of Light arrows–we could make them ourselves or we could purchase them ready-made. For us, the ready-made option made the most sense.
I searched for arrows that were high quality yet at an affordable price, and I found exactly that with Vince’s Arrows. I ordered five arrows on a Sunday, and I got an email on Monday saying they had been shipped!
The arrows arrived a few days later, and I immediately knew we had made the right decision to purchase these from Vince. These handmade Arrow of Light award arrows are beautiful!
The arrow shafts are red oak with a unique antique finish. The arrowheads are actual stone, and the fletching is made of turkey feathers. All of the materials used are top quality.
On closer inspection, you can see the craftsmanship that Vince employs in making these arrows. The arrowhead and fletches are tightly bound to the shaft for a very authentic look.
The arrows are about 29″ long, but if you need a custom size, just check with Vince. He is willing to accommodate your request if he can.
These arrows are ideal as Arrow of Light awards. The boys will cherish this symbol of their achievement for a lifetime.
I do wish Vince offered the vinyl Arrow of Light stripe kits. We chose to use those instead of painting the stripes, and I had to purchase them from another vendor. Hopefully, Vince can add these to his product line in the future.
Just on quality and service alone, I would highly recommend Vince’s Arrows. But when you hear the story of Vince’s Arrows, you’ll have even more reason to purchase your Arrow of Light arrows from him.
Vince Roman has been in business since 2003. He was in 6th grade in 2003. Yep, Vince started his business when he was in 6th grade. He and his dad made his own Arrow of Light award, and he’s been making them ever since. He purchased camping and hiking gear and funded two trips to Philmont by making these beautiful arrows.
Vince continued his Scouting journey and became an Eagle Scout. His arrow business helped him pay for college. In addition to making Arrow of Light award arrows, he is a middle school youth minister. Vince says, “On my honor as a scout, I will fulfill any order that I accept, and your satisfaction is always 100% guaranteed.”
If you’re looking for beautiful, well-constructed keepsake Arrow of Light arrows, then head over to Vince’s Arrows. You won’t be disappointed!
Yours in Scouting,
P.S. Vince makes plaques now too! They’re gorgeous!
