I recently found out that  Cricut®, the maker of electronic cutting machines, now has officially licensed images for Cub Scouts and for Boy Scouts!

In years past, I had always known Cricut as the machine you could use to make embellishments for your scrapbooks.  But now, there are so many things you can do with the machine including home decor.

We could make so many fun party favors or centerpieces for the Blue and Gold Banquet.  There are images for the Pinewood Derby, the Raingutter Regatta and the Space Derby–really, for just about any Cub Scout or Boy Scout event.

Here are some pictures of things I’ve made.

The images are available digitally.  The price for each set is $29.99.  They do go on sale from time to time, so I’ll let you know if I see a sale on them!

Do any of you have these images?  If so, what have you made?  I would love to see pictures!

Yours in Scouting,
Sherry

How cool to make custom images for a Pack. We have a Cricut for Picture cropping that I will ask my wife to use.

I love this!! I did let them know that there is an error on the cartridge, though, which they may easily be able to correct via a digital file. In the first image that shows all of the items, there is one that just says “Webelo”! My Webelos den is horrified! 😉 Even with that, though, I absolutely can’t wait to use this cartridge and make cute things for my den and pack!

    1. That is TERRIBLE!!!! That is probably my biggest pet peeve–especially when I hear a long-time Scouter say that. 🙂 I’m glad you let them know.

Send me some pictures of the things you make!
