The pie plate pitch game is a great gathering activity for your den.  It’s also an easy one to pull out if your Cub Scouts have been sitting for a while and need to do something active.

Here’s all you need:

Using a permanent marker, draw target rings and mark them with point values. After you’ve created the target, you can keep these items in your den bucket to pull out at a moment’s notice.

Taking turns, the Scouts pitch three or four washers from a designated spot into the pie plate.  Tally the points earned from where each washer lands.

Such a simple game, but the kids love the challenge and the competition!

Yours in Scouting,

Sherry
