King of the Jungle (Citizenship), a Lion Adventure

The Lion Cub Scout handbook says, “Citizenship is about actively participating with those around you to create a community. For Lion Cub Scouts, their community is their home and the people they live with. Learning that they, too, can contribute and have a part in their home is the objective of this Adventure.”

Read on for this adventure’s requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Draw a picture of the people you live with.
  2. With your Lion adult partner, choose a job that will help your family. Follow through by doing that job at least once.
  3. Talk with a grandparent or other older adult about what citizenship means to them.
  4. Participate in a service project.
