Sometimes, I get asked what kinds of activities that Cub Scouts do.  For packs, that's an easy answer–camp, hike, service projects, etc.  But folks will ask what their son will be doing in their dens.  The answer is doing adventures to complete Cub Scout rank requirements.

Most people won't have a handbook around to give the parents an idea of what the dens will do.  And if you don't have a child who has gone through that rank in the new program, it's even harder to talk about the Cub Scout rank requirements.

One of my fellow leaders put together a packet of information that we handed out to the guests who attended our summer events.  She made them specific to the boys' grades and included the Cub Scout rank requirements for them.

We created a document for each rank that only had the adventures for that rank.  I thought these might be helpful to you too.  Feel free to download them and share them.

Bobcat Requirements

Tiger Requirements

Wolf Requirements

Bear Requirements

Webelos & AoL Requirements

I hope these are useful for you!

Yours in Scouting,
Sherry

P.S.  If you need a document with all of the requirements, you can download it here.  The handbooks are available in an electronic version.  Check out this post to learn more.
