Spend More Time with your Kids–Cub Scout Style!

As parents, we want to spend time with our kids, but life gets in the way sometimes. Participating in Cub Scouts gives you lots of quality time with them!

Recently, I was talking to one of the moms in our den. The conversation turned to the benefits of Cub Scouts.

This mom told me that she loves Cub Scouting because it forces you to spend time doing activities with your child.

We should be doing that anyway,” she said, “but sometimes it’s hard to find time. With Scouts, you have to find the time.”

Regardless of what rank your child is, Cub Scouts has lots of great activities you can do together. Simply grab your Scout's handbook and take a look through it.

Whether you’re researching fingerprints or making paper airplanes, the time you spend with your Scout is invaluable

In my opinion, this is one of the greatest benefits of Cub Scouts.

The Pinewood Derby is a family affair for us! Our pack has a “parents and siblings” race, so we can all make a car and compete.

Helping out at den and pack meetings, selling popcorn, camping, and hiking are just a few of the other activities that allow you to spend time with your children.

I am a firm believer of the parents influence on their children's success and failure as well. But I know that with their time spent will be sooo worth it and they will reap the benefits in the future.
